RED MAN AVIATION SERVICES
Pitot/Static and Transponder testing and Inspection
Red Man Aviation LLC is an Approved Repair Station with Limited Airframe, Limited Instrument, and Limited Radio ratings to perform your Pitot/Static and Transponder required tests and inspections.
Our Technicians accomplish these tests utilizing the latest Viavi AVX-10K Flight Line Test Equipment and Barfield 1811NG Digital Pitot/Static Test Equipment. These test units provide unsurpassed accuracy and trouble shooting capability required of modern avionics installations.
The AVX-10K is used to test all modes of the Transponder operation to include ADS-B in/out information.
These checks are required every 24 months in accordance with the requirements of §91.411 and §91.413 and to verify the static system is leak free (§23.1325) whenever the static system or components have had maintenance performed.
